Resizing your server
Use Resize when your world needs a different plan. You can ask the panel for a recommendation or compare every available plan yourself.
- Select the server you want to change.
- Open Resize in its navigation.
Let the panel help you choose
Select Help me choose. Search for your game and, for Minecraft, optionally choose a modpack. The panel shows its recommended minimum and whether your current plan meets it.
A recommended minimum means the game should start. Players, plugins, settings and a growing world can need more than that. You can adjust the total RAM, CPU and SSD targets to suit what is actually running short.
Compare the suggested plans, their resources, monthly prices and the change from your current plan.
Compare plans or downgrade
Choose Show every plan to compare plans side by side. Use All changes, Upgrades or Downgrades to narrow the list.
Downgrades are checked against used disk space and installed games. Read any reason beside Cannot downgrade before proceeding. If storage is the issue, use Disk usage to see what is taking up space; keep backups before removing files.
Review the change
Check the plan's recurring monthly price, then select Review change or the relevant review button. The upgrade dialog shows the estimated charge for today, excluding promotions and applicable VAT. Enter a promotional code if you have one; an existing lifetime promotion is kept unless you choose another code. Select Upgrade when you are happy to proceed, or Cancel to return to the plans.
Some changes require a manual check. The panel will explain this and may open a support request instead of applying the change immediately. If no offered plan fits, use Ask us first rather than choosing a bigger plan on guesswork.
After submitting a change, follow its result and check any resulting invoice. Do not assume a server has resized until the panel confirms it.
Fixed-time services
Eligible fixed-time services show a separate Keep your server running screen. Review the expiry, proposed monthly plan and amount due, then use Review change to continue. The options and offer shown for your service determine what is available.
